Product Care & Maintenance
Investing in high-end European and Canadian bathroom fixtures means enjoying luxury and functionality for years to come. To keep your vanities, freestanding tubs, and faucets looking exactly as they did in our showroom, proper daily care and maintenance are essential.
Here are the general care guidelines for our premium product categories. Always refer to the manufacturer’s manual for specific instructions regarding your exact model.
1. Faucets & Metal Finishes (Brushed Gold, Matte Black, Chrome) Modern finishes require gentle care to maintain their stunning appearance.
- Do: Clean regularly with mild soap, warm water, and a soft microfiber cloth. Always dry the fixture after use to prevent hard water spots.
- Don't: Never use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, bleach, ammonia, or acidic cleaners (like vinegar or citrus-based solutions). These will permanently damage and strip the finish.
2. Freestanding Tubs & Sinks (Acrylic and Solid Surface) Our luxurious bathtubs and sinks are designed to resist stains, but they still need the right care.
- Do: Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild, non-abrasive liquid cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with water and wipe dry.
- Don't: Avoid abrasive powders or stiff brushes that can dull or scratch the glossy or matte surfaces.
3. Bathroom Vanities & Wood Cabinets To protect the craftsmanship of your vanity:
- Do: Wipe up water spills immediately. Clean the cabinet surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth and dry right away. Ensure your bathroom is well-ventilated to prevent excessive moisture buildup.
- Don't: Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, waxes, or polishes that can damage the wood veneer or painted finishes.
4. Glass Shower Doors Many of our premium shower enclosures, such as those from Fleurco, feature advanced water-repellent glass protection (Microtek).
- Do: Use a squeegee after every shower to prevent water spots and mineral buildup. Clean the glass with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water.
- Don't: Avoid glass cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals, as they can break down the protective water-repellent coating.
5. Smart Toilets & Electronic Fixtures Smart toilets require special attention due to their electronic components.
- Do: Clean the bowl with gentle, non-abrasive toilet cleaners. Use a soft, damp cloth for the exterior and the remote control. Follow the manufacturer's manual for routine nozzle cleaning.
- Don't: Do not spray water or cleaners directly onto the electronic seat or control panels.
